We live in Belmont, California, a lovely, small community about 25 miles south of San Francisco. Our home is located on a cul-de-sac, directly across the street from dedicated open space that features miles of running and walking trails. We can't wait to take our baby out in the stroller or Baby Bjorn and walk along the many trails in our neighborhood. Our house is also within walking distance of an excellent elementary school. As we watch parents walking their children to school on bright, sunny mornings, we dream about the day when we'll walk our child to school.

Half a block from our home is a children's play area and tennis courts, which are maintained by our neighborhood association. We have a large yard and swimming pool that we use all summer long. Our dog Kachina is a sweet-natured 11-year-old who loves children.
